01 — COACHING FORMATS
FORMAT 01
One-to-one personal training session in a Paris studio, coach observing movement pattern during a squat assessment

One-to-One Sessions

The foundation of the Obranev practice. Each individual session is drawn from a written programme designed specifically for that person — not adapted from a template. The session log is reviewed before the next booking to ensure continuity and appropriate progression.

  • 50 or 75 minute session formats
  • Full session recap sent within 24 hours
  • Progressive overload tracked session-to-session
FORMAT 02
Small group training format in a Paris studio with four participants working through a functional fitness circuit under coach supervision

Group Training Format

Sessions of up to six participants working through a shared programme with individual modifications where needed. The group format brings accountability and variety to training without sacrificing the coach-to-participant ratio that makes correction and progress possible.

  • Maximum 6 participants per session
  • Functional fitness and conditioning focus
  • Seasonal outdoor formats available
FORMAT 03
Strength training programme in progress, individual performing a deadlift under controlled conditions in a private Paris gym

Strength Programmes

Structured multi-week programming focused on progressive strength development. Built around compound movements, carefully sequenced to develop force production, motor control, and structural resilience across an 8 to 16 week block.

  • 8–16 week periodised blocks
  • Weekly schedule with loading parameters
  • Mid-block and end-of-block reviews
FORMAT 04
Endurance coaching session outdoors in Paris, athlete running alongside a coach on a riverside path in morning light

Endurance Coaching

For individuals working towards distance running events, cycling targets, or broader cardiovascular capacity. Combines structured intensity work with recovery management to build endurance without an overaccumulation of fatigue across the training week.

  • Event-specific preparation available
  • Indoor and outdoor session options
  • Active recovery protocols included
02 — ASSESSMENT & PLANNING

Movement Screening

A structured series of movement evaluations identifying restrictions, asymmetries, and compensation patterns before programme design begins.

Body Composition Assessment

Baseline and periodic measurements used to track changes in body composition across a training block. Informed by the goal-setting framework established at intake.

Goal-Setting Framework

A structured intake session that converts stated intentions into measurable, periodised targets — giving the programme a clear direction and the individual a point of reference for evaluating progress.

Mobility Work

Targeted mobility drills integrated into training plans or delivered as standalone sessions, addressing range of motion restrictions relevant to the individual's programme.

Posture Correction

Evidence-informed approaches to addressing postural deviations — integrated into the broader programme through corrective exercise selection and cuing adjustments.

Nutrition Guidance

Practical guidance on balanced meal patterns, portion awareness, hydration habits, and pre- and post-session fuelling — aligned to the demands of the current training block.

03 — SPORT-SPECIFIC CONDITIONING

Conditioning Designed for the Demands of Specific Activity

Athletes preparing for a specific sport or competitive context require programming that reflects the physical demands of that activity. Obranev's sport-specific conditioning service begins with an analysis of the relevant movement patterns, energy systems, and positional demands — then constructs a block designed to develop the qualities most relevant to performance in that context.

Sports currently served include football, tennis, cycling, trail running, and rowing. Athletes in other disciplines are welcome for an intake consultation to discuss whether the available programming can be adapted appropriately.

04 — LIFESTYLE INTEGRATION

Sleep. Recovery. Daily Movement.

A training programme that ignores what happens outside sessions is a programme built on incomplete information. Lifestyle coaching at Obranev addresses the three pillars that most directly influence how the body responds to training load: sleep quality, stress management, and the baseline movement patterns that make up the rest of the day.

Active recovery protocols, rest-day routines, and morning movement sequences are developed alongside the primary training schedule. These are not optional additions — they are structural components of the programme, calibrated to ensure that the body arrives at each session in a state that allows productive work.

RECOVERY
Active rest protocols integrated into weekly planning
SLEEP
Sleep quality addressed within lifestyle coaching scope
STRESS
Load management adapted around identified stressors
