Legal Basis & Purpose

Personal data is processed on the following legal bases as defined in Article 6 of the GDPR:

Legitimate Interest (Art. 6(1)(f))

Server logs and basic traffic data are retained for the purposes of site security, error resolution, and understanding general visitor patterns. This use does not override your rights and freedoms.

Consent (Art. 6(1)(a))

Where you submit a contact form, your data is processed on the basis of your consent to be contacted. Where you accept cookies beyond strictly functional ones, cookie-based data is processed on the basis of your explicit consent.

Pre-contractual Steps (Art. 6(1)(b))

Where a contact form submission initiates a booking or coaching enquiry, the data is processed in order to take steps at the request of the individual prior to entering into any agreement.

The purposes for which your data are used include: responding to enquiries, scheduling sessions, improving the website experience, and ensuring technical security of the site infrastructure.

04

Data Sharing & Third Parties

Obranev does not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties. Data may be shared in the following limited circumstances:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers: Server infrastructure is provided by a third-party hosting provider. This provider processes data solely on our instructions and is bound by a data processing agreement.
  • Email delivery: Where contact form submissions are forwarded to our inbox via an email relay service, that provider has access to the message content and your email address.
  • Analytics: Where you consent to analytics cookies, anonymised behavioural data may be shared with analytics platforms. No personally identifiable information is transmitted in this context.
  • Legal obligations: We may disclose personal data where required to do so by law, court order, or a competent regulatory authority, including CNIL.

We do not transfer personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) except where standard contractual clauses or other recognised safeguards are in place.

05

Retention & Your Rights

Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for a maximum of 12 months from the date of submission, unless an ongoing coaching relationship necessitates a longer retention period. Server logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days. Cookie-based data is retained according to the periods specified in our Cookie Policy.

After the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time.

Rectification

You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

Erasure
